“Veep” fans, did you miss any of our exclusive chats with the cast of HBO’s Emmy-winning political satire? We’ve listed them all below for your viewing pleasure, including our interviews with Reid Scott, Timothy Simons and Matt Walsh.
Reid Scott on his character Dan Egan’s unlucky streak: “Dan is nothing if not getting used to crushing defeat, which is these huge and repeated blows to his ego … He should probably be a little proud of [getting fired] … he was a big enough head to roll for this catastrophe.”
Timothy Simons on adjusting to the show’s big move to the White House: “Once you become president, the world gets so much bigger, even just as far as the people in the room … There’s so much story to tell, those [scenes] got truncated a little bit and it was a different performance language to figure out.”
Matt Walsh on the exit of series creator Armando Iannucci: “I’m gonna miss him. He’s such a brilliant and talented leader for our show and on a personal note he’s a fun hang … [He’s] created something that actually can grow in his absence.”
