The six characters most likely to die in the season finale are:

1.) Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) with 9/2 odds

2.) Glenn (Steven Yeun) with 11/2 odds

3.) Deanna (Tovah Feldshuh) with 11/2 odds

4.) Carol (Melissa McBride) with 6/1 odds

5.) Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) with 13/2 odds

6.) Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) with 7/1 odds

These odds will keep changing throughout the day as more and more “Walking Dead” fans have their say. Disagree with those current death odds? Then cast your OWN votes now. You must make your predictions before Sunday at 4 p.m. to be eligible to win our $100 grand prize.

While I concede that Abraham has a good chance of being killed off next amongst the main characters — let’s face it, the writers seem to have run out of storylines for him — I think our readers are dead wrong by not predicting Tara (Alanna Masterson) to die from the group of recurring players.

Don’t forget, the last time we saw Tara at the end of Episode 14, she was critically wounded from the grenade going off inside the warehouse. Yes, Eugene (Josh McDermitt) carried her outside to safety, but how long can Tara actually survive at Alexandria with such serious wounds? She’s definitely my pick to die next.

If I’m right that Tara will be killed off, I’ll receive more points for my correct answer because she has lower odds (8/1) than those mentioned above. Remember: the more points you earn at season’s end, the better chance you have of winning if there’s a tie for which readers have the highest prediction accuracy.

Which MAIN characters will die on ‘The Walking Dead’ season finale?

Should you take Gold Derby’s “The Walking Dead” predictions seriously? Let’s examine our readers’ accuracy results so far this season:

When Bob and Gareth both died in Episode 3, Bob was #1 on our chart while Gareth was way down in our #8 slot.

When Beth died in Episode 8, she tied at #1 on our chart with the “No One” option.

When Tyreese died in Episode 9, he was #2 on our chart (behind “No One”).

When Noah died in Episode 14, he was #2 on our chart (behind “No One”).

It’s fair to say of this season’s five big deaths (not counting Buttons) our readers correctly saw all of them coming, save for Gareth’s shocking demise at the beginning of the season.
