In “Breaking Bad’s” acclaimed prequel “Better Call Saul,” Bob Odenkirk reprises his fan favorite character of Jimmy McGill, a slick lawyer struggling to earn the respect of his brother Chuck (Michael McKean). In Season 2, Jimmy develops a deeper relationship with former colleague Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn). Watch our recent webchats with Odenkirk, McKean and Seehorn below as they dish the success of the series, the evolution of their characters and the Emmy Awards.
Emmy voters recognized “Saul” last year with seven nominations, including Best Drama Series, Best Actor (Odenkirk), Best Supporting Actor (Jonathan Banks) and Best Drama Writing (Gordon Smith). While Season 1 netted a 78 score at Metacritic, Season 2 topped that with a score of 85. Will increased critical acclaim and fan support lead to even more nominations? Things look promising. The TCA Awards nominated the show for Best Drama Series and Best Individual Achievement (Odenkirk).
