Billboard Music Awards 2016: Full list of winners (and nominees)

Adele and The Weeknd dominated the 24th annual Billboard Music Awards that aired live nationwide on ABC on Sunday May 22. The British songbird won Top Artist as well as both Billboard 200 Album (“25”) and Top Selling Song (“Hello”) while the Canadian R&B singer/songwriter ruled in a slew of song categories. The three-hour kudofest from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas was hosted for the third year running by Ludacris, who was joined this time by CiaraBritney Spears, who was feted with the Billboard Millennium Award, opened the show with a medley of her hits. Icon Award recipient Celine Dion sang Queen‘s “The Show Must Go On” in tribute to her late husband Rene AngelilMadonna paid tribute to Prince. And Adele — who edged out Justin Bieber, Drake, Taylor Swift and The Weeknd for Top Artist — debuted her new music video for “Send My Love (to Your New Lover).”
