As you can see, model and actress Amber Rose appears to be in trouble. In last week’s face-off dances, she lost her head-to-head battle against actress Maureen McCormick, which put her at risk of elimination on Tuesday night. She narrowly escaped — she was the last contestant to be called safe before Perry got the boot — but then she became embroiled in a body-shaming controversy with “DWTS” judge Julianne Hough. Will this latest drama win her more support from viewers at home, or will it cost her votes?
Even though McCormick won that face-off, she can’t rest on her laurels. She’s a close second to be eliminated with 4/1 odds, but her judges’ scores have improved every week so far (she tied for fifth place last week with 28 out of 40), so if she keeps it up she may sail comfortably into the next round.
Olympic Swimmer Ryan Lochte is also vulnerable with 9/1 odds. Unlike McCormick his scores have been flat thus far — 24 in weeks one and two, then a notch higher with 25 in week three — which has kept him near the bottom of the judges’ leaderboard every week. So his Cirque du Soleil performance Monday night could be a make-or-break moment for the embattled star.
Singer-songwriter Babyface has been inconsistent during his last three performances — 26 in week one, up to 30 in week two, down to 25 in week three — so it’s anyone’s guess if he’ll move up or down on Monday night. He currently ranks fourth for elimination with 25/1 odds, followed closely by Vanilla Ice with 28/1 odds. Vanilla Ice tied with Rick Perry for the lowest judges’ score on “Face-Off Night,” so he’ll need to greatly improve in order to stay alive.
