The Daytime Emmy Awards announce their nominations on March 24 with winners to be revealed on April 29 (Creative Arts) and May 1 (main telecast). But our forum posters have already named their favorites, declaring “Days of Our Lives” the Best Drama Series of 2015.

Daytime Emmy Awards pre-nominations: ‘Y&R’ leads with 23, ‘Days’ at 20

The savvy soap fans in our message boards have voted on the best in daytime television every year since 2003 and have selected “Days” as the best drama for the last three years in a row, and five times since 2009. “Days” also won the Daytime Emmy for Best Drama in 2013 and 2015 and has 20 total pre-nominations this year, trailing only “The Young and the Restless” with 23.

Our forum posters awarded “Days” a whopping nine times in all, also including Best Actress (Kassie DePaiva), Best Supporting Actor (a tie between Bryan Datillo and Christopher Sean), Best Supporting Actress (Judi Evans) and Best Writing.

General Hospital” won three times, including both younger acting prizes for Nicolas Bechtel and Brooklyn Rae Silzer. “Y&R” only won once – Best Actor (Justin Hartley) – despite dominating the Emmy pre-noms. “The Bold and the Beautiful” took the prize for Best Directing.

All of our posters’ acting winners are Emmy pre-nominees in their respective categories except one: Datillo isn’t among the 10 supporting actors contending for Emmys.

Our forum awards results are below. Do you agree with their nominees and winners? Make sure to join the discussion in our forums.
