Directors Guild of America Awards 2016: Complete list of winners (and nominees)

Winners of the 68th annual edition of the Directors Guild of America Awards were revealed on Saturday (Feb. 6) in a ceremony at the Hyatt Regency in Los Angeles. This year, the DGA introduced a new award for first-time feature film directors, allowing non-guild members to contend (unlike the WGA). And a slew of famous names from in front of the camera reaped bids for their helming of various TV programs in 2015. Amy Schumer is nominated for directing herself in an episode of “Inside Amy Schumer” while Chris Rock reaped a bid for his oversight of her stand-up special “Live From the Apollo.” And Oscar nominees Angela Bassett and Paul Haggis number among those contending for their helming of telefilms “Whitney” and “Show Me a Hero” respectively.
