1. “All the Way” – 8/5 odds to earn nomination
Our Top 24 Users’ pick to win is HBO’s telefilm “All the Way,” directed by Jay Roach. It’s based on the popular Tony-winning play starring Bryan Cranston as President Lyndon B. Johnson.
2. “Confirmation” – 4/1 odds to earn nomination
HBO’s biopic about Anita Hill (Kerry Washington) and Clarence Thomas (Wendell Pierce) is more timely than ever thanks to the real-world politics going on with the current Supreme Court vacancy.
3. “Sherlock: The Abominable Bride” – 9/2 odds to earn nomination
Never underestimate “Sherlock,” as the last movie (“His Last Vow”) took the Emmys by storm in 2014, winning Best Writing, Best Actor (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Best Supporting Actor (Martin Freeman).
4. “Luther” – 15/2 odds to earn nomination
While it’s true that “Luther” and star Idris Elba have never won Emmys, our Top 24 Users still expect it to be a major player this year for the newest chapter that aired as a three-hour movie on BBC America.
5. “A Very Murray Christmas” – 14/1 odds to earn nomination
Netflix’s celeb cameo Christmas extravaganza is directed by Sofia Coppola and co-written by Bill Murray, who stars as himself. The star power alone from the many celebrity guest stars could guarantee Emmy love from voters.
