Emmys list: TV shows (‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘Veep,’ ‘The People v. O.J. Simpson’) and networks (HBO, FX) with most nominations

At this year’s Emmys, “Game of Thrones” leads overall (and among drama series) with 23 nominations while “Veep” is the most nominated laffer with 16 bids. “The People v. O.J. Simpson” is the top miniseries with 22 nominations while “All the Way” is the most lauded telefilm at eight. “Saturday Night Live” is the most cited variety sketch series, tying its record 16 nominations from last year while “Last Week Tonight With John Oliver” is the most nominated variety talk show at six.
