[FORUMS] Emmy wish list: Who are your Top 6 picks for Best Drama Actress?

The Emmy nominations are announced on Thursday, July 14, but will the TV academy make the right choices? Our Gold Derby forum posters have been discussing their favorite shows and performances, and many of them are quite different from what our experts are predicting will make the cut.

For instance, “Penny Dreadful” star Eva Green made many posters’ lists for Best Drama Actress, though she appears to be an Emmy underdog. Says nkb325 about Green’s performance, “One of the best if not the best performance on television as one of the most fascinating fictional characters I’ve ever seen.” Fan-favorite Tatiana Maslany (“Orphan Black”) also has many supporters, including jf123, who argues, “Say what you want about the show now (I actually thought [the latest] season was the best since season one), but Maslany is giving one of the greatest performances on TV right now.”
