After being absent from the entire fifth season of “Game of Thrones,” Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) will finally return in Season 6, Episode 2 according to the new trailer just released by HBO. The episode is titled “Home” and written by Dave Hill and directed by Jeremy Podeswa. Watch the video above.
For those with short-term memories, Bran is the middle son of the late Ned and Catelyn, in between Robb and Rickon. He is the brother of Sansa and Arya and the half-brother of the recently deceased Jon Snow. Bran was last seen in the “Game of Thrones” Season 4 finale “The Children” with Hodor and Meera Reed at the location of the Heart Tree. While there, he met the three-eyed raven who said he could not restore Bran’s broken legs but that he could make him fly.
Also in the preview trailer, we see brief snippets of Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) being accosted by her former guards, Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie) telling Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) that Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) has “disappeared,” Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) suggesting that his troops “storm” Castle Black, and Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) telling the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) that “the Gods spill more blood than the rest of us combined.”
The video ends with a quick glimpse of Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) getting up close and personal with one of Daenerys Targaryen’s (Emilia Clarke) dragons. What do you think of this first look at Episode 2? Sound off in the comments section below or right here in our famous TV forums.
