The Golden Globes announce past winners Mel Gibson and Helen Mirren along with box office champ Channing Tatum as presenters for this Sunday's ceremony. Mirren is also a nominee as Best Film Supporting Actress for "Trumbo" and is seeking her fourth career victory.
Five of last year's film winners are also among the first slate of 16 presenters announced early this week. They are Eddie Redmayne, Julianne Moore, Amy Adams, J.K. Simmons, and Patricia Arquette. Of those, the only one returning this year as a nominee is Redmayne, who has a bid as Best Drama Actor for "The Danish Girl." The only film acting winner from last January not yet announced is Michael Keaton.
Jamie Foxx will also be taking the stage to introduce his daughter Corrine as Miss Golden Globe. It is an annual tradition for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to invite a child of a celebrity to hand out the trophies.
Other stars set as presenters include Jaimie Alexander, Jim Carrey, Amber Heard, Bryce Dallas Howard, Kate Hudson, Kurt Russell, and Olivia Wilde. More names will be announced throughout this week, including the people who will present Denzel Washington with the Cecil B. DeMille Award for life achievement.
The Golden Globes air live this Sunday, January 10, on NBC from the Beverly Hilton and are hosted again by three-time emcee Ricky Gervais.
