Golden Globe TV snubs: Sam Heughan, ‘Gilmore Girls,’ Kit Harington, Anthony Hopkins

Every year like clockwork, dozens of worthy contenders are left on the cutting room floor by the Golden Globes. Of this year’s major TV snubs, our mouths are open in shock over the exclusions of Sam Heughan (“Outlander”), “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life,” Kit Harington (“Game of Thrones”) and Anthony Hopkins (“Westworld”), among others. Last year’s champs “Mr. Robot” (Best Drama), Taraji P. Henson (Best Drama Actress) and Maura Tierney (Best Supporting Actress) are also strangely MIA.
