Oscar screeners: Fox Searchlight sends ‘Jackie’ starring Natalie Portman

Fox Searchlight just sent Oscar voters screeners of Pablo Larrain‘s acclaimed biopic “Jackie,” in which Oscar champ Natalie Portman (“Black Swan”) plays First Lady Jackie Kennedy in the aftermath of the assassination of her husband, President John F. Kennedy. Portman won the Critics’ Choice Award on Dec. 11 for her sensitive portrayal of this American icon and she just reaped bids from both the Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild.
