On Monday’s edition of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” President Barack Obama read a series of “Mean Tweets” that culminated with a mic-drop of a moment when he read a final tweet by Donald Trump. “President Obama will go down as perhaps the worst president in the history of the United States,” Trump had previously tweeted. And Obama coyly responded, “Well, @realDonaldTrump, at least I will go down as a president.” Watch the full “Mean Tweets” segment above.
Among the hilarious non-Trump tweets that Obama got a chuckle out of reading were these:
“Obama couldn’t negotiate getting a Whopper without pickels.”
“Just found out my daughter shares a birthday with Obama PUKE”
“My mom bought new conditioner and it sucks it isn’t even conditioning my hair I blame Obama”
“Barack Obama… bro, do you even lift!?”
“Barack Obama is the sharknado of presidents. Loud, stupid and over-hyped!”
As Obama continues campaigning around the country for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, Kimmel is coming off a well-reviewed stint at hosting the Emmy Awards in which he roasted Trump during his opening monologue. “Television brings people together, but television can also tear us apart,” Kimmel said on the Emmys stage. “I mean, if it wasn’t for television, would Donald Trump be running for president? No. He would be at home right now quietly rubbing up against his wife Malaria while she pretends to be asleep.”
