Though the Millennials tribe is one of the youngest tribes in “Survivor” history — among them is the first ever high-schooler to play, Will Wahl — they still managed a decisive win over the Gen X tribe in last week’s immunity/reward challenge. This week it looks like our readers maintain their faith in the younger generation, having pegged almost half of them to be in contention for the title of sole survivor.
In the premiere, both Klein and Takahashi took a more passive role socially, but managed to set the stage for a majority alliance of “misfits” to tower over the smaller group of “cool kids.” Smith, the oldest millennial, glided into a comfortable if not unwanted role of leader after successfully starting a fire from scratch. And Hammons on the other hand leads the Gen X tribe after spear-heading the shelter-building and managing David Wright’s unpredictable behavior.
