Last week Adam Klein and Mari Takahashi led our odds as the likely winners of “Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X,” but that was days before Mari was shockingly voted out first by the Millennials tribe. Michelle Schubert now takes her place at the top of the predictions after shrewdly orchestrating Mari’s elimination during tribal council. With 9/2 odds to win, Michelle becomes one of the most powerful players in the game after just two weeks. Do you agree or disagree with our readers’ findings? Hurry — make your “Survivor” predictions for a chance to top our famous leaderboards. It’s fun and easy, so start now by predicting who will be voted out next.
While Michelle was one of the main forces working against Mari, tribe mate Adam, who this week remains the frontrunner to win “Survivor” with 5/2 odds, was on the wrong side of that vote. That means going into this week’s third episode the two are playing opposite each other in terms of alliances. In the vote Adam was joined by Zeke Smith who last week was also near the top of the predictions, but falls this week to fifth at 10/1 odds to win.
Our readers’ continued faith in both Adam and Zeke despite them now being in a minority alliance is likely due to a number of reasons, most notably that both have had superior edits. Zeke was lauded for his achievements two weeks in a row by host Jeff Probst during challenges and at tribal council, and Adam narrated much of the strategy on the Millennials tribe via his in-episode confessional sessions.
Over on the Gen X tribe, Ken McNickle (7/1 odds) and new ally David Wright (22/1 odds) both skyrocket on our winner’s chart as the most likely champs from their tribe. On the surface, Ken and David’s friendship seems unlikely — you have a boxer brief-sporting hunk joining forces with a nervous ball of energy in a suit. But David solidified the bond when he revealed to Ken that he found a hidden idol, a tool that if used at the right time can help set the pair up for a deep run in the game against the much larger and stronger core alliance led by Paul Wachter.
