“Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X” fans, did you correctly predict who was voted out in Episode 2? Based on our readers’ predictions, Gen X-ers CeCe Taylor and Paul Wachter had the best chances of heading home, but when their tribe won Immunity, Mari Takahashi from the Millennials team was blindsided instead. Hurry — make your “Survivor” predictions for a chance to top our famous leaderboards. It’s fun and easy, so start now by predicting who will be voted out next.
Based on the racetrack odds derived from our readers’ predictions, Mari’s ouster was a major shocker as she had 100/1 odds of being eliminated Wednesday night in “Love Goggles.” In fact, Mari was actually one of the Top 2 castaways who we thought would win Season 33. See more “Survivor” odds and rankings right here.
Mari’s elimination is a bit of a head-scratcher, but from what we can tell, the “cool kids” alliance led by Michelle Schubert didn’t want Jessica “Figgy” Figueroa‘s showmance with Taylor Stocker to send her home, so Michelle rallied the troops and instructed Hannah Shapiro to join their group. In the end, only three people voted for Figgy — Adam Klein, Zeke Smith and Mari — making Adam and Zeke now on the outs with their fellow Millennials.
The teaser trailers for this episode made it seem like someone would be medically evacuated, but Paul — who passed out due to heat exhaustion — was deemed okay to stay in the game by Dr. Joe. Paul went on to dominate the Immunity challenge, helping the Gen X tribe win their first challenge of Season 33.
