After reading our recap below, hurry and make your “Survivor 33” predictions for a chance to top our famous leaderboards. It’s fun and easy, so start now by predicting who will be voted out next.
In the end, it all came down to Will Wahl. Eighteen-year-old Will decided he wanted to play “as an adult” and so he made the big move to turn on his alliance, joining with the other four players — David Wright, Ken McNickle, Hannah Shapiro and Adam Klein — to oust Zeke, who all agreed would win the game. But whether or not Will flipped didn’t really matter, as Adam decided to play his hidden idol for Hannah and thus double-ensured Zeke’s elimination.
Elsewhere in the episode, the tears flowed during the reward challenge as the castaways were reunited with their loved ones. Among the highlights, challenge winner Jay Starrett said that his sister was half of his heart, while Adam’s brother filled him in on their mother’s ailing health. After Jay chose Will, Sunday Burquest and Adam to also take part in the family reward, Adam handed over his reward advantage to Jay as a thank you.
Adam soon won the immunity challenge, and everything was going according to Will’s plan to blindside Zeke. That is, until Ken took it upon himself to decide that he wanted to “test” Will’s trust. Ken outed Will to Will’s teammates — Zeke, Jay, Sunday and Bret — and angered everybody on both sides in the process. Did Ken really think that was a good game move? Alas, it had no bearing on the outcome as Will decided to stick to his plan and vote out Zeke.
