As Taylor, Sunday Burquest, Chris Hammons, Bret LaBelle, David Wright and Ken McNickle were enjoying their reward victory of food and alcohol — Bret a bit too much — back at camp Adam Klein made the serious blunder of telling Jay Starrett that he was on the bottom. That led to Jay and Taylor bonding even further, with Taylor letting him in on the secret that he had buried food and that Adam had an advantage where he could steal someone’s reward.
With Jay and Taylor knowing the other 10 tribe members would split the votes between the two of them out of fear of a hidden idol being played, Tribal Council became a figurative food fight as host Jeff Probst watched in wide-eyed excitement. Taylor copped to stealing food, Jay admitted to eating the stolen goods, then Taylor threw Adam under the bus by revealing his advantage. Adam became defensive and unhinged, but it was all for nothing as the majority of the tribe (including Jay) decided to vote out surfer dude Taylor.
