Gold Derby was on the scene at the “Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X” Season 33 finale and reunion show Wednesday night, where we chatted with the Final 6 castaways on the red carpet. We’ve already posted our interviews with the top three castaways — Adam Klein, Ken McNickle and Hannah Shapiro — but scroll down now to watch our interviews with fourth place David Wright, fifth place Bret LaBelle and sixth place Jay Starrett.
David Wright on whether he could have beaten Adam in the finals: “That’s a great question. If I’m sitting in the final three with Adam, I’d be very curious to know who would win. The truth is, I’m glad he won. If I was sitting next to him, I would want him to win. He reminds me a lot of myself, he played a really great game and I love his story.”
Bret LaBelle on seeing David as a major threat: “I was going after David, we all were going after David, for a long time. He was extremely dangerous. Nobody at that stage of the game could beat him, we all knew it. I knew the jury would vote for him, not because they were his best friend, but because he played an amazing game.”
Jay Starrett on playing a fake hidden immunity idol: “I was never mad. Even when I lost, I walked out and I was just like, ‘Dude, you guys got me. Good prank. You freaking me.’ So I respect everyone, I was never mad. I think I lost because I didn’t cover the numbers in the immunity challenge. I had the big lead and then I blew it when they took the numbers.”
