This week we’ll find out if Will’s grab at a big move in the game was actually just the beginning of the end of his game. He parted ways with longtime ally Jay Starrett to vote against their new alliance and help send Zeke Smith home. Ultimately his move may have been in a vain for two reasons. The first is that Adam Klein played his idol for Hannah Shapiro, nullifying any votes against her. Because of that more showy move, regardless of where Will threw his vote Zeke’s fate was sealed.

The second reason is that he’s now put himself in the hot seat as a player willing to make big moves in order to win. This is the same position that put Zeke and others before him on the chopping block. This season is ruthless and the most aggressive players are being sent home. Having turned his back on his closest ally is unlikely to instill long-lasting trust between Will and a new alliance that technically didn’t even need him to remain in power.

If Will manages to escape the vote this round, it could be either Bret or David that goes instead. The case for Bret’s elimination is simply that he’s now on the wrong side of the vote and it may be too late for him to once again switch sides in order to save himself. David, though he’s in the majority alliance, could now be seen as the biggest threat to win without Zeke as the group’s biggest target.
