Based on the voting blocks at the last tribal council it would seem that Zeke, Bret, Jay and Will together with Sunday Burquest hold all the power in determining who of the remaining four castaways on the other side goes home next. Except our predictions say that four of those players are among the likeliest to be eliminated. In order for one of that group to go home, one or more of them will need to, as has become common this season, blindside the others.

In that group of five, Zeke, Bret and Sunday seem the most closely connected so it would be a shock to see any of those three vote against one another. It’s possible that without Chris Hammons and Jessica Lewis in the game, Bret and Sunday feel inclined to rejoin with David Wright and Ken McNickle based on their bond as Gen X-ers, but that group of four has never been closely aligned so that would be a surprising move.

Instead it’s Jay that will assume an unlikely power position after being the group at large’s main target since the merge. Though Zeke has been singled out as one of the biggest strategic threats, the division between him and David has weakened his influence over most of the players, namely former allies Adam Klein and Hannah Shapiro. That leaves Jay, with Will in his pocket, as the fence-straddlers that will decide whether Zeke stays or goes.

  1. I could be wrong but you didn’t see the preview for the next episode. Will looks like he may align with David etc against Zeke possibly. Seems Jay could be in Will’s pocket not the other way around as you wrote.
