This week’s episode was split into two halves, with two immunity challenges, two last-minute scramble sessions, and two eliminations. First up, Jay Starrett prevailed at the balance beam challenge by being the first player to roll all 10 of his discs through a narrow slot. Since the castaways were going to vote out Jay, they had to decide on whom to oust instead and they all agreed on Will, the 18-year-old who made a big move last week and was trying too hard to create a “Survivor” resume that he could use at the final tribal council.

In the second half, Ken McNickle won the puzzle/pinball immunity challenge (thanks to help from Adam Klein) and then debated with Hannah Shapiro and David Wright on where to place their votes. They were all worried Jay would play his idol and thereby send home the second-highest vote-getter, presumably David. So Hannah came up with a plan to throw their votes toward Sunday Burquest, calling her an “enticing goat” that could easily make it to the end without having truly played the game. At tribal, Jay did end up playing his idol, but wasted it as the foursome all voted out Sunday.
