Emmy Awards predictions contest winner: ‘The People v. O.J. Simpson’ and ‘All the Way’ will win

Gold Derby contest winner Zackiel Marsh (screen name movieguy) did so well at forecasting the 2015 Emmy Awards nominations — first place out of nearly 2,500 entrants — that we just had to see what she thinks will win this year’s highly competitive races for Best Limited Series and Best TV Movie.

“For Limited Series it is very tough since this category is absolutely stacked this year,” she explains. “But I’m going with ‘The People v. O.J. Simpson.’ It grabbed America’s attention, had a lot of hype behind it and is expertly made, with stunning performances and great writing. While other shows also did this, ‘O.J.’ has so much attention and hype behind it that its hard to deny it.”

“As for TV Movie, I’m predicting ‘All the Way,'” she adds. “Because of its pedigree, with Emmy darling Bryan Cranston, HBO backing, and a historically significant storyline, it was made to win this category.”

Marsh hails from Buckeye, Arizona where she works as a secretary. As for how she predicted last year’s Emmy nominations with a staggering 76% accuracy, she reveals, “I did really well because me and my oldest son, who I named the account after, did the predictions together. We knew 2015 would be a big year of change at the Emmys because of the influx of new, younger voters and figured that would manifest itself in the downfall of a couple perennial nominees.”
