2017 American Music Awards winners: Full list of AMAs winners in all 28 categories [UPDATING LIVE]

The 2017 American Music Awards were handed out Sunday, November 19 during a live ceremony on the ABC network from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. In all, 28 AMAs winners were announced both during the broadcast and behind the scenes in categories spanning pop, rock, R&B, hip-hop and country. We have the complete list down below, with winners marked in gold. How did the actual 2017 AMA winners compare to Gold Derby’s official predictions?

Golden Globe winner Tracee Ellis Ross (“Black-ish”) hosted the show and her mother, music icon Diana Ross, was honored for her lifetime achievement. While the nominations for the AMAs were determined by a number of factors including record sales, touring and airplay, winners were decided by an online popular vote of fans like YOU. That’s why so many of this year’s American Music Awards winners are among the biggest names in the industry.

Bruno Mars had official bragging rights as this year’s nominations leader with eight total bids including Artist of the Year. Joining Mars as Artist of the Year nominees were The Chainsmokers, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and Ed Sheeran.
