Hindsight is always 20/20, so how did we all do when making our predictions for the 2017 Emmy nominations? Looking forward at potential winners, our editors are split for Best Comedy Series, with O’Neil and Sheehan thinking that “Veep” will win its third straight trophy and Beachum, Montgomery and Dixon opting for “Black-ish.” But for Best Drama Series, all five forecast that “This Is Us” will win. The 69th annual edition of these kudos will take place Sunday, September 17 at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles and will air live coast-to-coast on CBS. The network’s rising star of the “Late Show,” Stephen Colbert, will serve as Emmys host for the very first time. How do you think he’ll do?
