2017 Emmys wins by TV shows (‘SNL,’ ‘Big Little Lies,’ ‘Handmaid’s Tale’) and networks (HBO, Netflix, NBC)

The most awarded programs at Sunday night’s Primetime Emmy Awards telecast were “Big Little Lies” and “The Handmaid’s Tale” which each won five races, including the top prizes of Best Limited Series and Best Drama Series respectively. “Saturday Night Live” claimed four awards including Best Variety Sketch series while Best Comedy Series champ “Veep” won just two.

But that doesn’t tell the whole story. Most Emmys were actually given out at last weekend’s Creative Arts Awards, where the big winners were “SNL,” “Stranger Things” and “Westworld” with five trophies apiece; the latter two drama series were snubbed at the primetime ceremony. “Big Little Lies” and “The Handmaid’s Tale” each picked up three of these precursor prizes as did “Veep.” And “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” won two awards at each ceremony.

Below is the scorecard of all the programs and TV networks that had three or more wins this year at the Primetime and Creative Arts Emmys combined.
