2017 GLAAD Awards winners: Complete list from Los Angeles ceremony on April 1

The media watchdog GLAAD honors those who convey fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of the LGBTQ community. The 28th annual edition of its awards take place on both coasts. The Los Angeles kudos were handed out on April 1 at the Beverly Hilton in a ceremony presided over by Cameron Esposito. The Gotham prizesfest will follow on May 6 at the New York Hilton Midtown. The winners from the west coast event were as follows.
