The SAG Awards nominations for achievements in film and television will be announced on Wednesday morning, December 13. So what movies and performers will earn the most nominations? We’re currently forecasting good news for “The Post,” Frances McDormand, Gary Oldman, and more. Scroll down for our predicted nominees in the top five categories, listed in order of their racetrack odds. The projected winners are highlighted in gold.

Our racetrack odds are determined by combining the predictions of over 1,600 Gold Derby users. That includes Expert film journalists we’ve polled from top media outlets, Gold Derby’s Editors who cover awards year-round, the Top 24 Users who got the highest scores predicting last year’s SAG Award nominations, the All-Star Top 24 who got the highest scores when you combine the last two years predictions, and the everyday Users who make up our largest and often smartest bloc of predictors.

The nominations themselves are decided by a randomly selected nominations panel comprising 2,500 members of the merged Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists unions. The winners will then be decided by all 121,000 members of SAG-AFTRA. The winners of these 24th annual kudos will be presented during a live telecast hosted by Kristen Bell on January 21.
