AMC and Sundance TV ships off 2017 Emmy FYC mailer with 16 programs: ‘Better Call Saul,’ ‘The Walking Dead,’ ‘Rectify’

AMC and Sundance TV have shipped off their 2017 Emmy FYC mailer to the TV academy membership, which includes a whopping 16 programs on six DVDs. Now in its third season, “Better Call Saul” is AMC’s strongest contender in this year’s Emmy game. Acting nominees Bob Odenkirk and Jonathan Banks are looking to finally prevail for their fan-favorite roles that originated on “Breaking Bad,” while the legal show is hoping to take home the gold as Best Drama Series after two prior noms.
