Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters are back for another round of fears and tears in “American Horror Story” Season 7. Titled “AHS: Cult,” this latest installment of FX’s horror anthology series begins on election night 2016, when anxieties are heightened after Donald Trump beats Hillary Clinton to become President of the United States. The season begins Tuesday, September 5 on FX. Who else stars in “American Horror Story: Cult”? Click through our photo gallery above to see all the “AHS: Cult” cast photos.

Besides Paulson and Peters, another familiar face for “AHS” Season 7 is Cheyenne Jackson. The theater vet is racking up his TV appearances, as this is now his third season of “American Horror Story” following “Hotel” (2015) and “Roanoke” (2016). Paulson plays Ally Mayfair-Richards, a woman whose former phobias come back to haunt her; Peters takes on the role of Kai Anderson, a cult leader in the making; and Jackson portrays kind-hearted Dr. Rudy Vincent, Ally’s psychiatrist.

This season is full of several new stars, continuing the anthology series’ revolving door of cast members. Some of the notable newbies include Billie Lourd as Winter Anderson, Alison Pill as Ivy Mayfair-Richards, Colton Haynes as Detective Samuels, Billy Eichner as Harrison Wilton and Leslie Grossman as Meadow Wilton.

We know what you’re thinking: What about Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates? “AHS” creator Ryan Murphy confirmed at a recent press event that they will both return “one day,” though they won’t be popping up in “Cult.” Both actresses won Emmys for their work on “American Horror Story,” with Lange winning Best Movie/Mini Supporting Actress for “Murder House” and Best Movie/Mini Actress for “Coven,” and Bates claiming Best Movie/Mini Supporting Actress for “Coven.”
