‘America’s Got Talent’ 2017: Puddles Pity Party belts out ‘All By Myself’ during Judge Cuts 2 [WATCH]

“This is gonna be quite an uncomfortable situation,” Simon Cowell told Puddles Pity Party when he stepped onto the stage for Tuesday’s Judge Cuts 2 episode of “America’s Got Talent” 2017. While Puddles is an amazing opera singer, the sad clown is known for never speaking a word. How did the judges react to his latest song, a cover of Celine Dion‘s ballad “All By Myself”? “Ahh, I love you,” smiled Mel B at the conclusion of Puddles’ performance. “As soon as you walked on the stage I’m like, oh yes, it’s the sad clown that doesn’t talk but sings his ass off! You’re brilliant.”

While Heidi Klum enjoyed the performance, it wasn’t her favorite of the night. “I liked it, too. But I don’t find myself being super excited or jumping out of my seat. I don’t.” Is Klum your favorite or least favorite “AGT” judge?

Guest judge DJ Khaled was seeing Puddles for the first time, and he was admittedly “confused.” He told the clown, “You have a beautiful voice. Cheer up, man. If you make it to the next round, come as a clown with the happy face.”

Cowell disagreed with Khaled, confessing, “I literally can’t bear clowns. But you can’t talk, and then you sing these very emotional songs. Because of that, I can connect with you. I like the whole kind of tragedy thing. I just want [you] to stay miserable.”

Howie Mandel ended the panel discussion by telling Puddles, “I believe that you’re worth a fight.” Puddles was one of the seven acts to move on to the live shows of “Americas Got Talent” Season 12. Do you agree with the judges’ decision? Let us know by sounding off down in the comments section.
