‘America’s Got Talent’ 2017: Yoli Mayor’s Rihanna cover of ‘Love on the Brain’ will give you goosebumps [WATCH]

“I don’t feel like I showed you everything that I’ve got, and this time I really want to,” Yoli Mayor teased to Simon Cowell after she stepped onto the stage for Tuesday’s Judge Cuts 2 episode of “America’s Got Talent” 2017. Last time, Cowell and host Tyra Banks helped Mayor deglam herself and appear more like someone of her age (21). How did the judges react to her latest song, a sultry cover of Rihanna‘s “Love on the Brain”? Watch Yoli Mayor’s video above and then scroll down to see the judges’ comments.

When the five judges finally sat back down after giving Mayor a rousing standing ovation, Heidi Klum began the praises by declaring, “I love you. I mean, from all the singers you are, in my eyes, one of the best if not the best.”

Guest judge DJ Khaled said simply, “You is flawless.” He tried to press his Golden Buzzer again (after hitting it for singer-songwriter Chase Goehring earlier in the evening), but then added, “You don’t even need this button.”

“Yoli, you know why you fascinate me?” Cowell asked the young woman. “I don’t think you know what you’re capable of. And this is what excites me. Because you have such an amazing voice, you’re the kind of person I believe can get better and better and actually surprise yourself. And we’re gonna find that little space for you which you could own, Yoli. ‘Cause you’re good.”

The judges continued praising Mayor after she left the stage, including Khaled who said that she will “turn up” in the next round.

While Howie Mandel warned the judges that they all “have a tough decision ahead of us,” Mayor ended up being one of the seven acts to move on to the live shows of “Americas Got Talent” Season 12. Do you agree with the judges’ decision? Let us know by sounding off down in the comments section.
