Did the “America’s Got Talent” 2017 judges make a huge mistake? After eliminating Henry Richardson on Tuesday’s Judge Cuts 4 episode, the young magician has since gone viral on YouTube. In fact, Richardson has already amassed more than 700,000 views (and counting), making his video the biggest from this week’s episode other than Golden Buzzer recipient Johnny Manuel, who just crossed the 1 million mark.
Despite praising the 15-year-old for his close-up magic trick in which he made a stack of cards in guest judge Seal’s closed palms turn invisible, the four “AGT” judges — Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel — decided not to advance him to the live shows. Richardson also impressed the panel by having Klum sign a playing card and somehow managing to get it to appear inside of a sealed snack.
Instead of Richardson, the six acts chosen by the judges to join Manuel were singers In the Stairwell, dog act Pompeyo Family Dogs, gospel choir Greater Works, young dancers Artyon and Paige, dancer Merrick Hanna and singer Kechi Okwuchi. Read our Judge Cuts 4 recap here.
