‘America’s Got Talent’: Darci Lynne Farmer will win ‘AGT’ 2017 with singing ventriloquist act

Darci Lynne Farmer will win “America’s Got Talent” this year, according to our exclusive Gold Derby odds. This talented 12-year old is set to become the third ventriloquist to win “AGT” after Terry Fator in Season 2 and Paul Zerdin in Season 10. Besides the glory, she will get a check for $1 million and a chance to headline at a Las Vegas casino.

Farmer has wowed in each one of her three appearances to date on “AGT.” The Oklahoma City native was the highlight of the first audition episode at the end of May when she performed with her rabbit puppet Petunia. Mel B so enjoyed the routine that combined comedy, singing and ventriloquism that she used her Golden Buzzer to send Farmer straight through to the live shows.

On the first “AGT” quarter final, she made merry with a mouse puppet, Oscar, who had a crush on Mel B. And on the first “AGT semi final, she had her hands full with Edna, the little old lady who lusted after Simon Cowell.

To win season 12 of “AGT,” Farmer will have to get more votes than the other nine acts in the final: singers Evie Clair, Chase Goehring, Angelica Hale, Mandy Harvey and Kechi Okwuchi, dancers Diavolo and Light Balance, comedian Preacher Lawson, and dog act Sara & Hero.

Do you think Farmer will win or will one of these other acts pull off an upset? Vote in our poll below and be sure to sound off in the comments section.
