‘America’s Got Talent’: Is Darci Lynne Farmer overrated or does she deserve to win ‘AGT’? [POLL]

Darci Lynne Farmer has been the frontrunner to win “America’s Got Talent” ever since she appeared on the first audition episode in May. Back then, Mel B used her Golden Buzzer to send this 12-year-old singing ventriloquist straight to the live shows. On Wednesday (Sept. 6), Farmer moved on to the the “AGT” final. She leads our exclusive Gold Derby odds and is predicted to become the third ventriloquist to win “AGT” after Terry Fator in Season 2 and Paul Zerdin in Season 10.

But do you think she is a deserving winner of the $1 million grand prize and a chance to headline a show at a Las Vegas casino? Yes, Farmer is a triple threat with her singing, comedy timing and ability to throw her voice. She has shown just how confident she is as a performer by bringing on a different puppet in every appearance. On the Sept. 5 semifinal, it was the turn of Edna Doorknocker who revealed her love for Simon Cowell by singing “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” to him.

But would we be as impressed with Farmer if she wasn’t still a pre-teen? Do we cut her slack because of her age or is she as good a ventriloquist as Fator and Zerdin? Vote in our poll below and be sure to make your predictions as to which act will win season 12 of “America’s Got Talent.”

Be sure to make your predictions so that the contestants can see how they’re faring in our racetrack odds.
