Final Draft rocked the house on Tuesday’s “America’s Got Talent” with their rollicking version of the James Brown classic “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World.” The four fellows from Atlanta had pitch perfect harmonies as well as moves that wowed the judges and the audience. (Watch their audition above.)
In the video shown before their audition, the members spoke passionately about their commitment to the group. “Music is all we do,’ one declared. “We put our all in this and we just want to chase our dreams.” Indeed, as another revealed, to that end, they even live together so that they always be rehearsing. All of their hard work certainly paid off on this fifth audition episode of season 12 of “AGT.”
Following their performance, Howie Mandel, who is the longest serving judge on the panel, rose to his feet. Not surprisingly, he gave them a yes vote after explaining that he believed that their motivations for auditioning were driven by their love of music, not fame and fortune.
His three fellow panelists all concurred. Said Simon Cowell, “It was a great audition. I saw this real passion, this real ambition. You have absolute talent, you have great chemistry.” Agreed one-time Spice Girl Mel B. “What you have you can’t teach somebody. You have that inside of you and it jumps off the stage. And Heidi Klum enthused, “I love everything about it” before detailing her admiration. “You all look very handsome and you have great voices.”
