Only seven of the dozen acts that performed on the Aug. 29 quarterfinal of “America’s Got Talent” will make it through to the semifinals when results are announced on Wednesday’s live episode of “AGT.” Based on our exclusive “AGT” predictions, singer/songwriter Chase Goehring will easily get the most viewer votes. He got guest judge DJ Khaled to hit his Golden Buzzer on the July 25 episode with his original tune “A Capella” and wowed the crowd Tuesday with another new song, “Illusion,” about unrequited love.
Mind reader Colin Cloud had been doing well in our advance polling but his performance on the third live show of “AGT” caused controversy when he staged a mock murder of Simon Cowell by Mel B (Read more about his “AGT” act and then vote in our poll.)
Also predicted to make the cut is the other Golden Buzzer act on the bill: Angelina Green. This 13-year-old singer impressed judge Heidi Klum on the July 11 episode of “AGT” with her rendition of The Pretenders‘ classic “I’ll Stand By You.” On Tuesday’s live show, she soared with Sara Bareilles’ ballad “Gravity.”
The other four acts from the third quarterfinals episode that we are predicting to move on to the semifinals are: acrobatic dance group Diavolo, gospel choir Greater Works, singer Kechi Okwuchi , and Sara Carson and her dog Hero. The five to be eliminated are: vocal group Final Draft, dance duo Junior and Emily, dancer Oscar Hernandez, videomapping act Oskar and Gaspar and singer Mike Yung.
