‘America’s Got Talent’ live results 2 recap: Which 7 acts advanced to Semifinals? Which 5 were eliminated? [UPDATING LIVE]

The live shows of “America’s Got Talent” 2017 continued this week with 12 acts performing Tuesday night during the Quarterfinals 2 episode. “AGT” viewers voted overnight for their favorites, and Wednesday’s Live Results 2 episode revealed which seven acts advanced to the Semifinals and which five acts were eliminated. Las Vegas performers Circus 1903 were also on hand for a special live performance at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Below, check out our minute-by-minute “Americas Got Talent” Live Results 2 recap and then sound off in the comments about the night’s most shocking moments.

8:00 p.m. — The live results show has begun! Here’s hoping there aren’t anymore technical difficulties like there were last night. Get it together, “AGT”!

8:02 p.m. — In the recap of last night, I love seeing Heidi trying to keep Simon’s hands away from the buzzer during Mirror Image. Unfortunately he got through her blockade and buzzed them off the stage!

8:07 p.m. — I can’t believe they showed Simon’s joke about Mel’s wedding again. Though it seems to have been much more light-hearted than came across during Tuesday’s show. I’m glad there’s no hard feelings between my two favorite judges.

8:10 p.m. — Simon calls Tuesday’s show one of the “nuttiest” nights in his career on live television.

8:11 p.m. — The first announcement of the night is the three acts that polled 6th, 7th and 8th in the voting: Eric Jones, Evie Clair and The Masqueraders. You have 30 minutes to vote in the Dunkin Save to push your favorite through to the next round!

8:12 p.m. — Looks like Evie jumps out to an early lead with about 49% of the initial votes.

8:17 p.m. — Tyra is backstage with the Dunkin Save acts and Evie’s lead has dropped to 46% with The Masqueraders at 34% and Eric at 20%.

8:20 p.m. — In the first results of the night, between Brobots and Mandroidz and Light Balance, it’s Tyra’s Golden Buzzer pick Light Balance that moves on to the semis.

8:21 p.m. — Sad to see Brobots and Mandroidz go! They’re the second dance crew to be eliminated after Just Jerk missed out last week.

8:23 p.m. — Next up on stage is Mandy Harvey and The Pompeyo Family. Based on America’s votes, Mandy advances! That means one of Simon’s favorite acts goes home, but his Golden Buzzer choice moves on.

8:26 p.m. — At commercial break, two acts are through to the semis with three more to advance based on the overnight vote. The sixth and seventh acts will be determined by the Dunkin Save vote and a judges pick from the last two acts standing.

8:29 p.m. — Twelve more minutes to vote for the Dunkin Save. They aren’t showing the live results anymore, but my guess is that Evie is still leading! That would mean the other two will be hoping to be saved by the judges.

8:30 p.m. — Vegas act Circus 1903 takes the stage. They begin with a see-saw act that has members jumping high into the air. No technical difficulties so far!

8:31 p.m. — Wow, the guy on stilts swinging and tossing his female partner into the air for flips is better than any of the acrobatics acts we’ve seen on “AGT” so far. Give him a Vegas act and a million dollars!

8:32 p.m. — Omg now there’s elephants (puppets) on stage! I love this.

8:34 p.m. — Circus 1903 was a stunning display of how dynamic an act can be when they use the entire stage and have multiple things going on at once. Super cool to see how the things that circus performers were doing over a century ago compare to what the acts are doing today on “AGT.”

8:37 p.m. — One of the Circus 1903 performers is backstage with Celine Tam and he just called a newspaper the “iPad of 1903.” LOL! Also, Celine is so cute!

8:39 p.m. — The next result between Johnny Manuel and Demian Aditya pushed Johnny through to the semis. That means the technical difficulties of Demian will be the last we see of him on “AGT.” Unfortunate way to go out.

8:40 p.m. — Three acts left on stage: Merrick Hanna, Mirror Image and Celine. Two will move on!

8:41 p.m. — Celine is the first one to advance! Tyra asks her what Celine Dion thinks of her right now and Celine says “I think she’s proud of me.” Ugh, so cute.

8:43 p.m. — In the last result of America’s overnight vote, Merrick makes the semifinals! Simon’s buzzer of Mirror Image may have hurt their chances.

8:45 p.m. — Light Balance, Mandy Harvey, Johnny Manuel, Celine Tam and Merrick Hanna are the five acts that will be in the semis based on America’s vote. Dunkin Save result is next.

8:50 p.m. — The Dunkin Save results come down and, as expected based on early numbers, Evie is the act to advance based on tonight’s live voting. Who will the judges save?

8:53 p.m. — Cut to commercial break before the judges pick, but they don’t seem in a rush to deliberate with each other! Do they already know which one they like better? Hmm.

8:58 p.m. — The judges pick: Heidi votes The Masqueraders. Mel votes Eric Jones.

8:59 p.m. — Simon goes with The Masqueraders. It’s down to Howie.

9:00 p.m. — Howie goes with Eric Jones–another tie! And Eric wins in the tiebreaker based on last night’s votes!

After tonight, 14 acts are already through to the semifinals. Next week, 12 more will perform for their chance and they are: Danell Daymon & Greater Works, Junior & Emily Alabi, Chase Goehring, Diavolo, Angelina Green, Colin Cloud, Final Draft, Oskar & Gaspar, Oscar Hernandez, Kechi, Sara & Hero and Mike Yung.
