Only five of the dozen acts that performed on the Sept. 5 semifinal of “America’s Got Talent” will make it through to the finals when results are announced on Wednesday’s live episode of “AGT.” Based on our exclusive “AGT” predictions, Darci Lynne Farmer is the overwhelming favorite. This singing ventriloquist, who is only 12, has been the frontrunner to win season 12 since her first audition back in May.
Singer/songwriter Chase Goehring is also expected to make the cut. He got guest judge DJ Khaled to hit his Golden Buzzer on the July 25 episode with his original tune “A Capella” and wowed the crowd Tuesday with another new song, “What Is Love,” about unrequited love. Also predicted to move on to the finals is another songsmith, Johnny Manuel, who also introduced a new tune.
Dog trainer Sara Carson and her talented pooch Hero won over head judge Simon Cowell again and should get enough viewer votes to move on to the finals in two weeks time. Likewise for the comedian Preacher Lawson.
The six predicted to be eliminated are: singer Evie Clair, dancing duo Billy and Emily England, magician Eric Jones, gospel choir Greater Works and singers Yoli Mayor and Mike Yung.
