Colin Cloud (Quarterfinal 3): This mind reader caused controversy with his staged murder of Simon Cowell by Mel B (Read more about his “AGT” act and then vote in our poll.)

Diavolo (Quarterfinal 3): The acrobatic dance group was dressed as space travelers and they defied gravity with their routine.

Angelica Hale (Quarterfinal 1): This Golden Buzzer act had won over guest judge Chris Hardwick several weeks back. With her crystal clear vocal on Zedd‘s “Clarity,” she had all four regular judges in her corner.

Christian Guardino (Quarterfinal 1): This formerly blind singer had won over Howie Mandel at his audition and was the first of the Golden Buzzer acts to perform on the live show. He delivered a stirring rendition of Ed Sheeran’s hit “Make It Rain,”

Merrick Hanna (Quarterfinal 2): By telling moving stories via dance, Hanna inspired the four judges, with Simon Cowell singling him out as a special talent.

Mandy Harvey (Quarterfinal 2): On the June 6 audition episode, this deaf singer/songwriter inspired the hard-hearted Cowell to soften with her own tune “Try.” He pressed his Golden Buzzer and sent her straight through to the live show, where she dazzled once again with an original composition, “Mara’s Song.”

In the Stairwell (Quarterfinal 1): This a capella group had all the judges but Mandel on their feet at the end of  free-wheeling performance of Fun‘s “Some Nights.”

Light Balance (Quarterfinal 2): Tyra Banks‘ Golden Buzzer act ran afoul of technical issues and producers had to substitute the dress rehearsal footage of their dazzling routine. Mandel made the astute observation that it allowed the panel to experience their talent in the same way as the TV audience.

Kechi Okwuchi (Quarterfinal 3): The last night of the act could be in first place following her jaw-dropping version of Katy Perry’s “By the Grace of God.”

Celine Tam (Quarterfinal 2): This talented tyke had won over guest judge Laverne Cox and was the first of the Golden Buzzer acts to perform on this live show. She delivered a stirring rendition of the Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston duet “When You Believe.”
