Sara Carson and Hero (Quarterfinal 3): The dog trainer added another talent pooch, Loki, to the act which had an Egyptian theme this time around.
Evie Clair (Quarterfinal 2): Showing her versatility by adding piano playing to her act, this soulful singer won over all four judges, who praised for being so open about her life.
Billy and Emily England (Quarterfinal 1): This brother and sister wowed the crowd with their roller-skating routine that defied gravity.
Darci Lynne Farmer (Quarterfinal 1): This talented tyke was the star of the very first audition show back in May. At that time, the 12-year-old ventriloquist got Mel B. to press the Golden Buzzer with her signing puppet Petunia. On the live show, she introduced Oscar who was no grouch as he sang of his love for the one-time Spice Girl.
Merrick Hanna (Quarterfinal 2): By telling moving stories via dance, Hanna inspired the four judges, with Simon Cowell singling him out as a special talent.
Mandy Harvey (Quarterfinal 2): On the June 6 audition episode, this deaf singer/songwriter inspired the hard-hearted Cowell to soften with her own tune “Try.” He pressed his Golden Buzzer and sent her straight through to the live show, where she dazzled once again with an original composition, “Mara’s Song.”
Eric Jones (Quarterfinal 2): Cowell reverted to his usual crusty self when he criticized this close-up magician for failing to impress with his feats of prestidigitation. After the judges couldn’t agree on a final act to put through, Jones won the public vote over The Masqueraders.
Preacher Lawson (Quarterfinal 1): A stand-up comedian who has been hoping for his big break for more than a decade got it with a hilarious routine that resonated with viewers.
Johnny Manuel (Quarterfinal 2): On Aug. 8, guest judge Seal was impressed by Manuel’s grit and determination when he performed Stevie Wonder’s “Lately,” both with and without music, and hit his Golden Buzzer. On the live show, Manuel went all diva, delivering over-the-top version of the classic show tune “And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going.”
Yoli Mayor (Quarterfinal 1): This soul singer was saved at the end of the evening by the public vote that had preferred her performance of Rag’n’Bone Man‘s song “Human” over the dance routine by Just Jerk.
