Angelina Green could be back on “America’s Got Talent” on Tuesday (Sept. 12). She is predicted to be the wild card act on semi final 2 of “AGT.” This pint-sized powerhouse singer was up against the gospel choir Greater Works on the quarter final 3 results show. The judges went with the latter, who performed on the first semi final on Sept. 5 but did not win enough votes to move on to the final.
Green was the Golden Buzzer pick for Heidi Klum, who wept openly when the other judges went with the choir. Could she persuade them to bring Green back for the fifth live show on Sept. 12? That is what 43% of our readers think will happen.
However, there are two other girl singers — Angelica Hale and Celine Tam — on the bill. So, perhaps the “AGT” panel will pick another act. While Green did not win over the other three judges — Mel B, Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel — the other two acts eliminated during judges choice both went down to defeat only after the panel could not choose and left it to the public vote.
In the first quarter final, the hip hop dance group Just Jerk was edged out by singer Yoli Mayor; 27% of our readers expect this troupe to return as the wild card. In the second quarter final, the vocal group The Masqueraders was bumped by magician Eric Jones; 12% of our readers are predicting they will return on Sept. 12.
However, 18% of our readers expect that the “AGT” judges will do what they did last year when they bypassed the three acts (magician Hara, acrobats ThroWings, and singer Ronee Martin) that had just missed out on making the semi finals and chose juggling duo The Passing Zone as the wild card.
