‘Big Brother 19’ finale spoilers: Final 2 plans of Part 3 Head of Household competitors

The “Big Brother” season 19 finale airs live on CBS on Wednesday (Sept. 20). It will kick off with Part 3 of the final Head of Household competition. The winner of that will get to pick which of the remaining two houseguests will come with them to the final 2 and plead their case before the jury. As the first two parts of this HOH competition took place while the feeds were down, we know who will be facing off live on Wednesday and we know who each plans to take with them through to face the evicted houseguests. Spoilers ahead

We got a teaser of Part 1, which took place offline on Thursday (Sept. 14), in last Friday’s taped episode of “Big Brother.”Paul Abrahamian won Part 1 by outlasting Christmas Abbott and Josh Martinez in a test of endurance. Each was positioned on the top of a platform and had to keep from dropping off, with only a unicorn tail to hang onto. Josh fell first followed by Christmas at the one-hour mark, leaving Paul as the winner.

Christmas and Josh then battled each other in Part 2, which happened while the “BB19” feeds were down on Saturday (Sept. 16). We now know that it was a grueling combination of physical stamina and mental agility with three rounds that took more than six hours to finish. Josh won by about five minutes.

That means that Josh will now face Paul in Part 3, which is likely to be a guessing game with each having to predict how the evicted houseguests answered questions about their time in the “Big Brother” house. Since Saturday, both have been talking openly about who they plan to take to the jury with them should they win Part 3.

Paul has made it clear that he will bounce Christmas from the house and take Josh to the Final 2. His rationale is that as Josh was not well-liked by the other houseguests, victory should be his. He still regrets taking Nicole Franzel with him to the jury last year; she won by a vote of 5 to 4.

Josh had been saying he would bring Christmas with him to the Final 2. However, he now realizes that he is far more likely to win over the jury by first apologizing for his behavior (as he has done via video messages) and then offering up a less attractive option in the form of Paul.
