Now that we know the 16 identities of the “Big Brother” 19 houseguests, do you think they are this season’s only contestants? Or, as is sometimes the case, might someone from a prior season be announced later to round out the cast? If that’s the case, which former houseguest from recent years do YOU hope returns? If you missed the cast announcement, click through this photo gallery highlighting the new contestants in the running to win the 19th season of “Big Brother.”
CBS’s long-running reality TV show usually has no qualms about bringing back people from the past. The recent “Big Brother: Over the Top” cycle featured Season 17’s Jason Roy, while last summer’s “Big Brother” 18 hosted a slew of returning players: Da’Vonne Rogers (Season 17), Frank Eudy (Season 14), James Huling (Season 17) and Nicole Franzel (Season 16).
From recent seasons, there are several standouts we would just love to see return to the “Big Brother” house for another shot at the $500,000 prize. Here are a handful of suggestions, one from each of the past six cycles, that would surely keep things spicy this summer. CBS, are you listening?
Alex Willett (“Big Brother: Over the Top”) is a savvy animation designer in real life who brought her game-play personality to the online-only edition of the show. She deserves to be seen by the mass public.
Paul Abrahamian (Season 18) came this close to winning last year’s installment, but was bested at the finish line by Nicole. His enthusiasm and humor will be missed this year.
Audrey Middleton (Season 17) made waves in the house — not for being the show’s first transgender contestant, but because of her frequent emotional outbursts. If she comes back, be sure to stock up on the popcorn!
Frankie Grande (Season 16) is more famous than ever before thanks to his pop star sister Ariana Grande, but we’ll always remember him for keeping the house fresh, exciting and fun.
Judd Daugherty (Season 15) is a strong physical competitor who fought to return to the house after being evicted on Day 49, lasting several more weeks before his re-eviction on Day 82.
Danielle Murphree (Season 14) made it to the end of the game, but her closeness with coach Dan Gheesling was her ultimate undoing. We’d love to see her play again without the coach twist.
Based strictly on first impressions, which Season 19 houseguest do you think will join the “Big Brother” winner’s list? Might it be the 23-year-old dance teacher, the 35-year-old fitness superstar, the 37-year-old rodeo clown, or the 55-year-old stay-at-home dad?
