“Big Brother” fan-favorite robot Zingbot will zing the Season 19 houseguests and host the Veto competition on this Wednesday’s episode. Zingbot made his first appearance on CBS’s long-running reality TV show back in Season 12, and he’s returned every summer since then to zing the remaining players. Below, get a refresher on Zingbot and then make your “Big Brother” 19 predictions for a chance to win a $100 Amazon gift certificate. It’s fun and easy, so start predicting right now.
Zingbot first popped up in 2010 during the 12th season to host the Veto competition. Fan reaction was so positive that the robot has returned to roast the players each summer for the past seven years. Zingbot comes with his own fun recurring storyline, too. Zingbot got married in Season 13, and then had a baby in Season 14. A year later, Zingbot’s child returned to have its first birthday party in Season 15.
In Season 16 the robot once again returned, but since it was broken it could only give the houseguests props instead of his classic Zingbot zings. That was the summer when Kathy Griffin tagged along with him to roast the players and host the Veto competition. Zingbot then got a divorce and returned for Season 17 as “zingle and ready to mingle.”
When Zingbot last appeared during Season 18, it was revealed that he was running for President. (Spoiler alert: he lost to Donald Trump.) Eagle-eyed viewers noticed that Zingbot appeared in the live studio audience during last week’s double eviction episode, when both Cody Nickson and Elena Davies were sent to the jury house. So it’s no surprise to hear that Zingbot will make his first official appearance on Wednesday.
There are nine remaining houseguests left for Zingbot to zing: Paul Abrahamian, Alex Ow, Jason Dent, Kevin Schlehuber, Mark Jansen, Josh Martinez, Raven Walton, Matt Clines and Head of Household Christmas Abbott. What fun storyline do you hope is in store for Zingbot this summer? Is Zingbot upset that he lost the Presidential election? Sound off with your fun ideas down in the comments section.
