Billboard revealed its latest Hot 100 singles chart, dated November 4, and there’s no movement in the top three. “Rockstar” by Post Malone featuring 21 Savage remains the biggest song in the country for the second week, while former number-one “Bodak Yellow” by Cardi B holds on to second place and “1-800-273-8255” by Logic, Alessia Cara, and Khalid is steady at number-three. But that doesn’t mean there were no changes near the top of the chart. Imagine Dragons and Portugal. The Man made significant gains.
Portugal. The Man has been steadily on the rise in recent weeks with “Feel it Still,” the band’s first ever charting single on the Hot 100 after more than a decade of music from the group. This week they reach another high point, rising one spot to number-four. Meanwhile, Imagine Dragons reach a pinnacle of their own. Their single “Thunder” reaches number-five this week, marking their third top-five single following “Radioactive” (2012), which peaked at number three, and “Believer” (2017), which topped out at number-four not long ago this year.
There weren’t too many other big moves in the top 10 this week. “Sorry Not Sorry” by Demi Lovato is up two spots to number-seven, which is a new high point for Lovato, and “Unforgettable” by French Montana featuring Swae Lee rebounds one spot to number-nine after previously peaking in third place. The most significant change this week is actually downward, with Taylor Swift‘s “Look What You Made Me Do” dropping six spots to number-10, but she could actually end up replacing herself in the top 10 next week since she just released a new single, “Gorgeous.”
