Nick Viall vs. William Shatner: ‘Star Trek’ star wants the ‘Bachelor’ booted off ‘Dancing with the Stars’ [POLL]

William Shatner is a big “Dancing with the Stars” fan … but he’s not such a fan of Nick Viall. The former star of “Star Trek” and “Boston Legal” has launched an online campaign to get “Bachelor” star Viall eliminated from the dance competition series first. “My goal for #DWTS is to knock Bachelor Nick out ASAP. Who is with me?” Shatner said on Twitter Monday night.

Shatner is “Bachelor” fan as well and Viall left a bad taste in the actor’s mouth during his two seasons on “The Bachelorette,” one on “Bachelor in Paradise,” and finally one as “The Bachelor” this past season, and Shatner was aggressive in his campaign, urging “DWTS” to vote for literally every other contestant except “the vile one.”

Viall and his pro partner Peta Murgatroyd, who just returned to the show after taking a season off while pregnant, replied to the unexpected feud with sad emojis (see below). Shatner made it clear he has no beef with Murgatoryd and encouraged viewers of the show to “keep it in the family” by voting instead for Murgatroyd’s life partner and the father of her child Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who is competing this season with “Glee” actress Heather Morris.
