Jordan Fisher ruled “Dancing with the Stars” on “Disney Night” with a foxtrot that received the highest score of the evening, which also happened to be the first perfect score of the season: straight 10s for a total of 30 out of 30. His dance was inspired by “Moana,” and it was actually performed to Fisher’s own version of “You’re Welcome,” the song performed in the film by Dwayne Johnson. But was it really the best of the night?
Why yes it was. We asked our readers to tell us who their favorite performer was on “Disney Night,” and Fisher led the way with 25% of the vote. That was only one-quarter of respondents, though, so it was far from a landslide victory. Ranked a close second was Lindsey Stirling, who also performed a foxtrot and received 20% of our readers’ votes. Though she was a close second in our poll, she actually finished third in the judges’ scores, receiving two 9s and a 10 for a total of 28.
The judges’ second favorite dancer finished third in our poll: Frankie Muniz‘s “Pirates of the Caribbean” Argentine tango had unexpected swagger and was just shy of perfection, with a 9 and two 10s for a total of 29. Ranked fourth with 10% of our reader votes was Nikki Bella’s “Coco” jazz dance, and rounding out our top five, perhaps surprisingly, was Sasha Pieterse‘s “Little Mermaid” rumba, even though Pieterse was eliminated at the end of the night.
